Enkolong Tented Camp is established in one of the most spectacular locations in the world’s best-known wilderness, and one of the natural wonders of the world with the densest population of predators, herbivores and birdlife.

Maasai Mara, a natural home to the “big five”, is a boost to anyone making a safari to Kenya, and truly a safari to Kenya cannot be said to be complete without visiting the Reserve.

During the months of July to November, many visitors get down to the Mara to witness one of the most spectacular phenomena on earth. Stretching far, a teaming mass of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes, trailed by scavengers make way into the Mara plains from Serengeti in what is known as the Great Migration.

It is estimated that over two million animals take part in this historical journey. It is therefore recommended for anyone planning for a holiday to set a side 3-5 days in order to fully appreciate stay at Mara.

The Camp is located 290km South of Nairobi. Enkolong is sheltered in the pristine natural setting on the foot of a small hill by Sekenani Valley. This is by far the perfect setting and hideout for the adventurous, who want to experience nature in its natural form. We are only 3km from Sekenani gate. Our unique proximity from the gate makes us an ideal location for launching drives into the Mara.
